Hybrid games include face-to-face players in the club with online players. Just like a two-section game in the club, everyone will play the same boards, with results scored across the field and visible to everyone in real time.
How will it work?
To run a hybrid game, you need to be using Bridgemates in the club. The director will set up a two-section game in your usual scoring program, just as if both sections were physically present. The only difference is that one section will be the club players and one section will be the online players using Pianola Play.
Results
The results from the online players using Pianola Play will appear in your scoring program, just as if those players were in the club and entering their results on Bridgemates. The club's scoring program will compile the results from both sections and generate the final scores in the same file formats as any normal club game.
Fees
There are no additional charges for online-only games on Pianola Play, but hybrid games will incur some small additional fees.
